Audi has released details of the A5 Sportback that will launch in the UK in September
Audi are on a mission to fill every niche that exists – and some that don’t – in order to reach their goal of selling 1.5 million cars a year by 2015. Set to go on sale in the UK and Europe (but not the US) after the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the Audi A5 Sportback is said to offer the practicality of an estate with the elegance of a Coupe. And in many ways it does offer that.

An all-new version of Lancia's legendary Delta Integrale will relaunch the brand in the UK, CAR Online has learned. With its turbocharged four-cylinder engine sending power to all four wheels, the Rally-bred Integrale established the formula so successfully exploited by the Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru Impreza STi. Lancia will fight back with a reborn Delta Integrale around 2008, paving the way for the marque's arrival back in the UK market.
Saab's flagship sedan, the 9-5, is finally getting a dramatic re-do, and pictures are out on the Web in advance of its expected reveal at the Frankfurt motor show. It's a handsome effort, with an upright windshield, prominent grille and sleek headlight casings. Look for all-wheel drive and a range of engine selections.
